I mean how do you just fall out of love with someone’s smile
What about they way he’d look over at me on the passenger side of his jeep?
Or the way we danced in the moonlight in mid September?
How he wiped my tears with gentle hands?
God, how do you not love someone like that?
He is brilliant.
He is rampant with compassion
And if I could chose to wake up one day
and not love him.
When people ask me why i still love him
" A moment, A love, A dream, a laugh, a kiss, a cry, our rights, our wrongs."
drunk for the first time in ages tonight and i have established that when im drunk i need constant mothering and someone to look after me
That song is very personal. I wasn’t necessarily in that state of mind when I wrote that song. It’s a very reflective song. I mean, it’s about guilt, isn’t it? ‘Don’t you mind? Don’t you mind?’ Of course they mind. Everything that I said, I did all those things, which are not good things. A lot of people connect to that song. It’s a song about guilt—it’s a sad song, but it’s also one of my favorites. [x]
